Guest miguelams Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 (edited) Hey. I saw a review of this phone that was a little slow if we had a lot of open applications and then recommended the use of Task Killer or a similar progam. Do you recommend using one of these programs? If yes, which one would you recommend? Edited January 3, 2012 by miguelams
Guest targetbsp Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 You shouldn't use one, Android manages its own memory just fine. And frankly you can't really use one on Froyo or later be cause it will just relaunch a lot of apps to discourage you from using one. http://lifehacker.com/5650894/android-task-killers-explained-what-they-do-and-why-you-shouldnt-use-them There are plenty of other similar pages if you google for android task killer. :)
Guest ManMetDeHamer Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 i would recommend using v6 supercharger, it changes the default android memory management and seem to make the phone much smoother: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
Guest Davidoff59 Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Android closes any tasks that are no longer needed as it needs to free up memory. Everything I have read says that force closing does more harm than good, as forcing an app to close when its not ready means it has to do more when you restart the app, presumably to fix the mess created when force closing.
Guest swisstourist Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I use one at the beginning, then none, and my battery is still good after 1 day. Task killer is useless. sent from tapatalk :-)
