Guest SimranSingh Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 Sprint’s plans to launch Galaxy Nexus as their first LTE smartphone were per-maturely revealed by an advt on CNET earlier today. This US telco has been using WI-Max as their 4G technology so far and is now shifting to LTE.Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE will come with 1.5GHz dual core processor instead of 1.2GHz in Verizon LTE and GSM versions. Rest of the specifications are expected to remain the same, at least the 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display has been confirmed via the ad.What’s interesting to see is Sprint’s first LTE markets won’t go live until the mid-2012, at that time Galaxy Nexus won’t be as hot as it is right now. Market will be full of dual/quad core ICS phones. We will have to wait for the official Sprint announcement to get a clear idea.
