Guest Fossil52 Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 I have an Orange Monte Carlo - it's my first smart phone, and following your guide it is now unlocked. So far so good. Needless to say I want to get rid of most of the Orange bits and pieces, as they are just cluttering the phone up. The easy way would probably be to flash a suitable ROM, but I'm wondering if the guide here http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/ZTE_Blade#Removing_the_stock_Orange_Apps would be a sensible thing to do, in that I may actually learn something useful and may even dabble more with the SDK? What do the people in the know think?

After you install clockwork mod, make a backup of your default rom. before you install a new rom. Do 3 wipes first. Wipe date, wipe cache, go to advanced and wipe delvik. you might wanna wipe batt stats too, the install new rom
