There are apps that can do all of those things in the screenshot for android. It's not hard to search the android market.

Hi ColdEmbrace,

Its an All In One App, that has lots of info on many things, such as all the currency conversions. It has translators for all languages, it tells you when each country has its holidays and special days, it does conversions of different data, such as size, weight and so on, price checks.... basically a swiss army knife for when ya out and about and need to do quick checks, just resort to this.... ;)

Hi Roph, oh right thats cooolz then.... rather than just say there is, would you possibally suggest some then please? As I did have a look before posting this, hence why I couldnt see any and asked for help??

Thanks, Lister

If you're not able to search for and find such simple apps, I'd recommend you go back to iOS.

Roph, your being a little bit harsh there.

The question is whether a similar app exists, an all in one app that does many functions. I am not aware of one but did you try a Google search as you may be able to find 2 or 3 apps that encompass what you are looking for.

I imagine that there is a very good reason why he left Apple and those same reasons are why your comments wont help.

The Android community is a word commonly written, so lets welcome people instead of driving them away. Its a forum for all of us, not just for those proficient in Android.

I'm sure when you bought your first android device, that you had a few questions Roph, and every question seems stupid when you already know the answer, but you know that answer because someone before you decided to share that knowledge.

Today's noob could be next years developer so please bear that in mind when answering.

Hi Roph,

Thank you for your return comment, your second post to my initial question seeking help?? And within both of your TWO replies you have neither added anything useful, norr have you attempted to help? Makes me question whether there is any point you actually contributing to peoples posts if you cant help? You say you know of many Apps, but not once have you listed them, when you have had chance too?? Mmm?

So rather than than be SMUG or RUDE to others, when they seek advice (as again, why would I ask if I cannot find??) and it is not for the want of trying.... I have searched Google Market, and Google search engine, and as of yet failed to find anything like it? However, there maybe Apps out that fit my requirements, and that a seasoned Android user would know of, just like that??

Hi DavidOff59,

Many thanks for your support, and understanding.... :) I am merely asking for help, as I cannot find the answer to my question, hence I thought that is what forums are for, sharing and supporting others with useful information, and so whent he likes of those above, reply in the manner they do... it kind of puts you off!! :(

So again, thank you, least you understand me.... and as said, its not for want of trying, I've done my searches, and the fact I am an IT Engineer of 15yrs, I know my way around computers and the likes. And you are right, I have come away from Apple (after recieving an iPod Touch, as a leaving gift from my last company) as I do not agree with Apple, and their business model, greed and find Android a fairer system. However, I will hold my hands up that I am new to this platform, and so if I dont know what I need, then like with most forums, you ask..... :) But I guess every forum has their Roph.

Anyway, guess I'll have to keep looking.... ; ) lol. I've found many Apps that are similar, but yes it takes about 2 to 3 apps, to achieve what AppBox for iOS does in one... so would be neater to find an A.I.O app... :)

Thank you, Lister

I bring good news. I didn't read the article yet, I'm sure I saw mention of it costing $1 and containing 40 apps. Link http://www.addictive...ols-in-one-app/

Now I'm off too read it. :)

Edit: One noticeable drawback its 36MB but then what do you expect for 40 apps

Hi ColdEmbrace,

Neat, thats a great find... didnt even know of that App (and apparently it was on iOS too?? lol) It seems to have most of what the AppBox had, and more....

Although not keen on some of the added programs, as it just makes it look like a cluttered mess of random junk... :( Unlike AppBox...

Unfortunately I cant test it / use it at the moment, as I dont purchase Apps online (dont do any online ordering, if I can help it) Prefer to purchase Vouchers in advance and topup.... (C'mon Google, why dont ya jump onto this band-wagon, so we can see Android Market vouchers in our local shops). And there doesnt appear to be a Lite version of the App yet either?

With regards to AppZilla, it would be nice if you can custom design it? (I know ya can re-order the icons) but it would be nice if ya can enable and disable some features, those that you dont want to see or use??

However THANKS, that is an awesome find, and I hope to try it out soon... :D

On another plus note, I sent an eMail to the developer of the iOS App (AppBox Pro) and within 6hrs, he replied, thanking me for my eMail and suggestions, and that whilst they have no current plans to release an Android version, they are working on an iPad version.... Once thats been released, they said they may consider an Android client also, and are handing it over to the Devs/Coders.... :) So ya never know....??? lol

Cheers, Lister

Having bought the app at it's cheap price, I see that you can disable and re-order the icons.

Although I'm not sure why you want vouchers when buying direct from your card is easier that is your choice and I hope you test the app soon enough :)
