2.3.6 and MMS data

Since upgrading to 2.3.6 I have had problem with wireless drop-out

( not to fussed about that, just reset modem when I need)

but I cannot send MMS unless my internet data is on all the time ???

I have 2 phones on different Services both have same problem ??

It says "Please enable the data connection" if I enable the mobile

internet it works, I dont really want to leave my internat data open 24/7

I have set up both phones with correct settings and APN etc ??

Any Clues ??? only happened since upgrade ?? to 2.3.6

since the upgrade did you have to change the APN details, if so you need to turn off the phone and then on again for it to pick up the new settings

Thanks for the reply, I have tried everything, my service provider has given me 1.5gb free data a month

on same plan so it wont matter now .:lol:
