Facebook app killing my battery

anyone else had this ?

i know it was a problem last year but it seems like the facebook app is killing my battery - it constantly runs in the background and i've just charged the phone up and seen it lost 10% battery in about 20 minutes.

i've turned off auto sync, just the sync for facebook itself and i've tried killing the app and it just respawns and continues running. i've even manually turned off the sync inside the app itself.

the partial wake usage for it is 100% so it's clearly not sleeping ..

Haven't had this issue myself, but the Facebook app is absolutely appalling. It's slow, the updates hardly ever work, it's unintuitive. Doesn't let you upload multiple pictures from the gallery. -.- I have had a terrible experience with it.

Never had this issue myself, but that said facebook is the worsed application ever ><

What might help is using one of the alternate facebook applications thats still using the old client.:

for the record, i tried tweetdeck and immediately loved it. time will tell if the battery issues are sorted :)
