Launcher Pro rewrite progress

A small update on progress of the Launcher Pro rewrite (4th post on the linked page).

Fede said it was around 70% complete in November 2011 (it was announced September 2010!!!) not sure if it's been posted before, I'm guessing most people now use Go Launcher or ADW anyway.

"It's really hard to gauge a percentage of completion since some parts can take a lot more time than others. I'd say it's probably somewhere around 70% complete."

Wow that's late! I forgot that was even happening :D

I have indeed long since moved to ADW.Ex but I did use launcher Pro before it so I would give any major new version a try.

Still best launcher, only thing I miss right now is the gmail widget.

i wonder how the fact that launcher design seems to have completely changed in ICS is affecting this project. If it's sticking to the design it was when the project was started it may be completely outdated upon release?

Though I'm old school and still use non ICS style launchers on ICS.

thought about it myself. but how long does it take to make a launcher? forget it LP is dead.. too many people stopped expecting and moved on to ICS style launchers..

i still use LP myself, but dam...its taking a while to rewrite it. if it isnt done in the next few weeks i think Im gonna try Holo Launcher. it seems to be quite good for an ICS launcher :)

even tho im unsure what battery life is like on Holo
