Guest sal0007 Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) Hi all, Been helping a friend who has just recently purchased an unlocked Orange Monte Carlo. Have googled and searched conclusively but with no luck - yet! So hope somebody can help me to sort this issue! He is using the phone on Three, calls/text messages etc all works perfectly, however his data doesn't work. I've used the following settings for the phone: Name - 3 Apn - three.co.uk proxy - not set port - not set Username - not set Password - not set Server - not set MMSC - http://mms.um.three.co.uk:10021/mmsc MMS proxy - mms.three.co.uk MMS port - 8799 MCC - 234 MNC - 20 Authentication type - None APN type - default But just cannot get it working. Anyone able to offer any words of advice? Cheers! Edited January 10, 2012 by sal0007
Guest v1pEr Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 I assume you have tested the device on another network? You didn't mention this.

Guest Atomix86 Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 Works perfect on my 3 SIM. Are you sure he hasn't enabled "2g only" or "GSM only" in the settings?

Nope tis set to use the default, can't remember the exact wording but I did double check that. Did you use the same settings covered in my original post?

Guest NorthernNoel Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 Reboot after adding them? Also make sure there are no other apn's hidden in there that could conflict.

Tried with the single AP already. Have done a reboot but not sure if thats been done straight after adding the settings - will give that a try. Cheers,
