Hi me again! This is about my third OMC, I have got root access, install ClockworkMod but when I try to go to ClockworkMod recovery (via volume down + Power button OR via ROM Manager) it only goes to the green android thingy. It worked ok on my other OMC. What shall I do, shall I reinstall ClockworkMod? Thanks

Can I ask where you got recovery from ?

Hopefully you will say from pinned topics and not through rom manager

Ensure you flash a working version asap from the thread, else you run the risk of semi bricking should your ROM fail (with the only option then to TPT and lose everything).

Hi jikobutsu, I have tried through Rom Manager, I have also tried via the TWM_Fantastic_T3_Root_Packge.rar package => clicking on 0_Install_CWM_recovery.bat

I am going to download the package again, so far the phone reboot to the green Android man. Then gets stuck (how long shall I wait before removing the battery?). My other phone were ok, I did not experience this.

If you have any step by step help to give me please feel free (as I am still a complete noob)

Wacky, I am not sure how to install recovery via ADB. I have clicked on "Reboot into Recovery". But the process was terminated.

Thanks for any help coming my way.

If it says the proccess is terminated but nothing happens its maybe the drivers that are missing does it even see the device?

Or does it go into stock recovery after doing that. If you can do things like reboot into recovery in adb then the package should work, if not install the drivers :)

Yes it does see the device. The phone reboot but it only goes as far as the green android background and nothing else. Everytime I have to remove the battery and reboot.

Not sure what else to do

With your phone connected and detected click “Open CMD for ABD commands” Now we need to reboot into the bootloader, before we can flash anything. In order to do this you have to type “adb reboot bootloader” Now your phone should appear to be stuck at the first bootscreen.

From here you can install the drivers, and see if the device is detected. It wil give you the result you have bin having :)

Put clockworkmod in the directory of ADB made easy. Asuming its called the same as below type that commando.

"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"

then to get out of the bootloader (first bootscreen) type "fastboot reboot"

You could try “adb reboot bootloader” then directly "fastboot reboot" if the device doesnt reboot then its a driver problem... you could try it with one of the other 3 devices it wont damage them :) since its only rebooting...

Wacky thanks for that, but another question (don't laugh), where do I get the clockworkmod from (when you say "Put clockworkmod in the directory of ADB made easy". Do I have to download it. So far I have been using the "TWM_Fantastic_T3_Root_Packge.rar", which file do I take from this folder - assuming that it is the right package? Thanks

Tried to install Atomic 3C but it did not work, ended it putting on Cyanogenmod7 (like mine). Shame I wanted to see what Atomic was like but never mind. Another question, I unfortunately forgot to do a backup of the Orange stock (my bad). Can I get somewhere else or could I copy a a backup from my phone and put it on this phone's SD card?

Thanks

There are more people having this problem Tillaz made a new version, and he sent beta's to everyone before he uploads the fininshed version. It should be online later today.

Look in the stock rom section if your stockrom is between those one's :) There is a part on restoring backups in my tutorial its the same way you installed clockworkmod :) Or if your from the UK you can download your stock TPT and follow the TPT part in my tutorial
