Guest garethp Posted January 13, 2012 Report Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) Just wanted to share my experience of trying to find a charge/sync cable that works. I needed two spare cables for use at work and in the car. I ordered several from ebay and Amazon from generic ones to a "geniune nokia ca-101", but none of them would charge my blade. The screen would indicate that it was charging, but the percentage never increased even after several hours on charge. I saw some in Poundland sold as a Blackberry charging lead and thought I would give them a go, and believe it or not they work perfectly - they work as a data lead and charger lead. I think they are slightly shorter than the ZTE one which is ideal for me. So if you are like me trying to find a compatible cable, I strongly recommend the Poundland ones. Brilliant :) Link to product Edited January 13, 2012 by garethp
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted January 13, 2012 Report Posted January 13, 2012 I've always overlooked those thinking they were different connections. Good job im popping into town tomorrow will pick a few up.
Guest Lister Of Smeg Posted January 13, 2012 Report Posted January 13, 2012 Hi GarethP, Aye, they are a good cable, and glad you shared this info.... I spotted these a while ago in a PoundLand or 99p..... and yes they work brillantly.... or in my case, BETTER than the original. My original cable (well, not original... as that died ages ago... However I got a replacement) however that started to wobble all over the place, even though it still worked, it was rather loose inside. Where as this one, is a firm fit and does not move about. I purchased about 4x of these for myself, and other family members who have the same phone ;) :) Cheers, Lister
