Guest Ben in Turin Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 Sorry if this seems a stupid question but what music files can be played back on the San Francisco?
Guest Roph Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/media-formats.html Some media players may support extra formats, though they'll be decoding in software. You'll get the most efficiency out of HE-AACv2, you can squeeze 44khz stereo audio into as low as 25-30 kbit/s.

Guest Roph Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 It does. Those are the formats and specs supported by the android platform itself. If a phone or tablet is an Android phone or tablet, then it by default supports those formats.
