Brightness control in camera missing

Hi everyone. Well I've got an unlocked OMC running cyanogenmod 7 but I've noticed that the brightness control option isn't available when using the camera. I remember it was there when I had the Orange OS. So, is this feature only on Orange and how can I get this feature back?

I believed that's just a quicker way to control the exposure.. in cm7 select the furthest menu in the camera & the exposure settings are in there
