Guest siqass Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 if such problem was resolved anywhere in the forum would appreciate the link my unlocked Orange San Francisco (AKA Zte Blade) started to behave weirdly, after a year of flawless usage on Tmobile pay monthly it refuses to receive texts calls, when i'm trying to call straight away says "call ended", cant send texts either. Bizarrely internet works fine (using Tmobile data) When I put same Tmobile sim in another phone it works fine so I thought the phone is playing up. However I tried to put my Vodafone pay monthly sim and phone works perfect. Went to Orange shop and they refuse to look at it as it was unlocked not by them and guy did guessed that phone could be blacklisted or something (initially I bought phone from online Orange shop, never been stolen, reported etc, so makes little sense). In Tmobile shop they could not help either as pay monthly sim worked in their phone. Phone is rooted and is running Ginger Stir Fry Beta 21 kernel version 2.6.35.7-perf+ zte-kernel@zdroid-SMT android version: 2.3.4 Gen2 I tried different newer rom, still same can someone enlighten as I ran out of ideas thanks

Some reading here... http://android.modac...de-blacklisted/ http://forums.moneys...d.php?t=3677593 can someone enlighten as I ran out of ideas thanks Put simply your handset IME is on an Orange IME blacklist. It has probably been this way for several months but with using a T-Mobile sim you have been none the wiser, till this Everything, Everywhere merger that is. Edited January 16, 2012 by Andyroid
Guest hecatae Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Return it to a stock orange UK rom. Have you still got the orange sim card? Ring orange directly and prove purchase
Guest aaujt74 Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Did you unlock it before activating (or never activated) the orange sim that came with it?
