Guest dialmformostyn Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Grooveshark - one of the world's most popular and comprehensive music streaming sites - has unveiled an HTML5 webapp to access their stash of tunes from your smartphone browser. Although the service is currently in beta, and pretty Spartan in appearance at the moment, you can still explore Grooveshark's various stations and seemingly endless selection of songs. It will also run in the background, allowing you to close the browser and shut off the screen as you would with any music player worth its salt. Of course there are apps available in the Android Market such TinyShark, but this will work on any platform, so you may as well drink straight from the Grooveshark bottle, as it were. I, for one, am excited about the future of this project, but make your own mind up after visiting html5.grooveshark.com. This item was promoted to the News page - click here to view.
