Guest dialmformostyn Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 The unofficial official Google tablet is now available from The Carphone Warehouse for £249 for the WiFi-only model. Granted, the Xoom is not the latest or greatest of what's available, but when you consider that it's still a 10", Android 4.0 toting, dual-core little monster - not to mention that upon launch it would have put a £475 dent in your wallet - the deal seems even sweeter. If a data connection on-the-go is deal breaker for you, the price of the Xoom 3G has also been karate chopped to a reasonable £329 by the big blue warehouse of carphones. Guest Simon O Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 You'll need to flash the US ROM to the device first. After that it'll get OTA updates direct from Google including ICS :D
Guest ChristoIsChristo Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 It also will help you build muscle ... the thing is a heavy little beast. :o
Guest skull_fcuk Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Bought one of these today, on the back of this article (thank you Modaco!!) What a bargain indeed. Very smooth, well built and a joy to use. Gotta love the Android ;)
