I don't think that you are asking for too much. In fact this is a pretty great idea that can worth a try for more advanced users like TechnoLove davidevinavil and vache.

This is not merely a tweak but a much attractive upgrade. And from what i see the requirements are met for the majority used here, which use roms based on the 2.6.5.37 kernel from acer (which is said to be a requirement in the original thread)

I really hope that the creative guys from this forum, get interested by this and update the kernels of their roms.

Just take the files and write to the system does not work. Or will work, but bad. We need to do an update to kernel version 3.0 +.

It's not easy. It may be necessary to update the kernel by applying the patches to the kernel.

Where did these files are not clear. In addition, the Chinese servers and markets in the media is the distributor of malware.

I trust that the files were extracted their official firmware.
