Guest Victor von Zeppelin Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Samsung’s mysterious ICS—shunning “Value Pack” for the original Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab has recently leaked onto SamMobile, a site dedicated to, and very good at, sourcing Galaxy-related leaks and rumours. The Value Pack is an odd update for the two devices as it takes some features from Ice Cream Sandwich, but still keeps the base version of Gingerbread intact. Of course, why Samsung goes to the effort of back-porting these features to GB is a mystery – it’s been proven ICS runs on the hardware, as the Nexus S all too happily shows. Samsung have shifted blame to their TouchWiz skin, but it’s doubtful some small UI changes would affect the fastest phone of 2010 all too much. Even if that were the case we're sure many would forgo it for ICS  However, if you’re willing to risk the early version of the pack, you’ll find your treat at the link below.
