Noob question probably, but let's say on my OMC I run CM7 if I was going to try another ROM, do I have to re-install all my apps?

Thanks

No need to reinstall. Just use Titanium Backup and 'System Data Migration'! Check the FAQ!

That link is broken..

What I do when migrating from a ROM (I use Atomic so the last few weeks I had to do this every week) is use Titanium Backup and do menu-key=>Batch=>"backup system data and apps for all users". Then in the new ROM, install Titanium Backup again and do menu key=>Batch=>"restore missing apps and all system data". I'm not sure these titles are the same in the English version, I just translated the Dutch from my phone.

Your Google-account can also sync the apps you installed with the market though (just not the data), makes things even easier. If you try to restore with Titanium you have to press a lot of accept buttons and stuff for each app you install because the phone thinks they're not from the Market.

Thanks RedStar. I am quite happy with CM7 right now but just in case for the future.

Will titanium backup work okay with links2SD?

That, I don't know.

(Btw, the link isn't broken- copy it into the address bar, don't click on it.)
