Guest PaulOBrien Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Popular online filesharing site FileSonic - a MoDaCo partner - have disabled their download sharing functionality in the wake of the crackdown on similar site MegaUpload by the US government. While it's not clear what FileSonic's plans are going forward, unfortunately at the present time this means a lot of MoDaCo downloads are unavailable. I'm working to update links to ROM downloads, tweaks, patches etc. to alternative locations but in the meantime I would like to apologise for any inconvenience. Kitchen downloads are unaffected as they are served from our own servers. This item was promoted to the News page - click here to view.
Guest Calamity James Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 This is why relying on file sharing sites for hosting files is a bad idea. While I understand bandwidth isnt free, it certainly doesn't cost as much as it used to, but your Filesonic downloads when they were available were practically unusable once you'd downloaded something substanial like a ROM. Fingers crossed you guys find a more suitable alternative :)
