Guest Watashi_PT Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Hello guys, I will be direct. I'm having some problems with my phone and i want to know if there are ways of getting a new one through warranty service. By the way, i have tools now to open the phone. So give me all the suggestions you think that could do the job.
Guest Maxsas360 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) You ask how to break the phone? Connect a 9v battery instead of original one and tell them I charged it and when I woke up it did not turn on or something like that. Opening the phone will void the warranty. Guest targetbsp Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Errm.. if it has problems and is in warranty, just take it back? Why would you need suggestions beyond that?

Ok, and with that i would be abble to get a completely new phone? Don't worry, the phone was open by the warranty service and they forget to put the sticker in the screw (i don't know if was one there before, but normally is xD)

Because i've take it three times now for different problems and the total of the stay there was three months. I just want to stop with that and get a new and free of problems San Francisco

I broke my laptop by giving too much voltage on charging. You could do it.

Guest Maxsas360 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 But logically if the charger is alright how the heck can the motherboard be fried lol.

Guest Maxsas360 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 So what is the situation here? xD I'd sell it on ebay till the warranty is valid and get a new one. New ones OC to more than 800mhz
Guest cmberry20 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 (edited) My San Francisco developed a camera fault after 11 months. Apart from that the phone was perfect. I rang orange (got messed about a bit from department to department) but finally got an exchange. The courier turned up the next day with a new (or very nearly new) phone. Only shame was it was a tft screen and not the lovely oled that the faulty phone had. If it genuinely has a fault, ring orange and demand a replacement. Because orange 'manufactures' the phone they should replace it. Edited January 24, 2012 by cmberry20

Guest Davidoff59 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 How does it work in Portugal ? what warranty is left on it. My argument would be that they have already fixed it 3 times and have been without a phone for 3 months. This is the fourth repair. Argue your case that if its repaired again, and it then breaks again outside the warranty period, then you will be left with a bill to repair it. 4 failures is not acceptable. If Orange Portugal bought a PC off you and it failed, do you honestly think they would accept 4 repairs on it? No they would not. Tell them the phone is for business use and you are losing money everytime it breaks so you want a new phone at no cost or an upgrade and you will pay the difference, minus the original price of the phone you have now. If you accept rubbish from them, then they will keep giving you rubbish service and that's a fact. Stand up for your rights as a consumer.Be firm but don't lose your temper. You will not accept another repair and if necessary, say you will stay there all day showing potential customers the faulty phones that they are selling. Speak to a manager and bring proof of all the repairs and length of time in the shop being repaired.
