[HELP] my zte not recognize secret codes

Hi to all,

i've a zte v880 cyanogenmod7. all work fine, camera, wifi, etc. but now if i want insert secret code like *983*24474636# (for the usb, for example) my phone reply "unknown application". why????

before i install cm7 secret code has worked with no problem.

Install the zte emode apk

That is part of ZTE engineering mode. You need to use ZTE ROM for it to work. You also need to use ZTE dialer for the codes to work.

Secret codes work on stock based roms with zte dialler. Stock based roms that dont have zte dialler have zte emode helper. You cannot have it on Cyanogen.
