Clockworkmod backup without a screen??

So I broke the screen on my SF and have no display at all. I bought another one, but want to basically clone my old one onto it. Restoration is easy, but how can I go about doing the backup without the screen. Is there a way that I can do it via my PC?

Aha! That's a nice little challenge!

How about I give you the key sequence to backup in clockwork blind, then you can just copy the back up folder over from the old micro sd to the new one (obv you'll need to install clockwork on the new phone first)

So, in clockwork v5.0.2 (probably same sequence for most recent builds) make sure the battery is well charged, switch the old phone off (pop the battery to be sure)

Then power on with vol- held

Wait a bit

Press vol- five times then the home button

Press home again

Wait a good 30mins while everything backs up

Pop the microSD card out and into your pc

Copy the relevant folder from the old to the new microSD ( sd/clockworkmod/back up/ date)

Then stick it back in the new phone, boot into clockwork and restore with the backup you just made

This (i think) will give your new phone the same MAC address as your old (defunct) phone, but that's not really a problem AFAIK

Hopefully that'll work and not shag your phone. Sorry if it doesn't (and does shag your phone!)
