ZTE Blade RLS5 Softbank Kernel installation for accelerometer sensor

I recently upgraded my ZTE Blade from 2.1 to 2.2 successfully. In the process however I lost the accelerometer function. I've tried to install the softbank kernel but I'm having problems installing it onto my phone. Could someone take me step by step through the process?

I'll really appreciate that.
