CyanogenMod 9

This new rom is always compiled from the latest CM9 sources and for the most part it will be kept originally like any other CM 9 release.

Release doesnt contain Google Apps, you need to download them seperate.

Photo camera

Front camera

Capacitive touch buttons dimmed

Probably more but i forgot

Bluetooth not working

Video recording not working

New thermal/heat deamon for cpu

Sorry for being a noob, but.. whats the difference between AOSP and CM9?

I wish there was a little more information regarding the stability of this rom. I know some of the other AOSP ICS roms for the Sensation have had applications close randomly and/or random reboots. Some information on battery life would be good too. Thanks again Noeri.

I'm going to use this post to attempt to document my bugs also.

[bUGS/FIXES]

*** With flash mode set to "ON" in the camera app, the flash ceases to operate.

*** Front-facing camera ceases to zoom when toggled to do so.

*** Can't seem to access my google account, no option to sign in. [FIX gapps, flash this: http://www.multiupload.com/B1TZD65GBR ]

*** WI-FI will NOT turn on, at all. Refuses to turn on. [FIX WI-FI, flash this: http://www.mediafire...h76388nfa8yiud9]

*** No Market app present, installed 3.44. It closes immediately after being opened. [FIX gapps, flash this: http://www.multiupload.com/B1TZD65GBR ]

*** Data/WI-FI/3G reception icons do not show color at all, just stay grey. Still appear to function. (data, WI-FI). [seems to fix itself after the relevant gapps package was flashed]

*** GPS doesn't appear to be working, noted by myself and other users. [FIX GPS, camera flash, boot time, flash the ammended kernel by @Vorbeth http://android.modaco.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=7836]

CM9 is an enhanced version of Android 4 (ICS). It would be heavily optimised, and include new features and settings.

Now we waiting for MIUI V4 and then we will have all ICS Rom for our Sensation (Sense, Aosp, CM9, MIUI V4)..
