Help! Screen goes black while calling

Hello, i have been having a big problem on my phone for long time now. The problem is everytime i make a call or anybody calls me my zte-blade screen goes blak and i cant even turn it on until the call ends up. Anyone knows what the problem is or how i can fix it?

During a call, the screen is meant to turn off when you hold it near your head. If it doesn't turn on again when you take it away from your head, you probably need to calibrate the proximity sensor. How you do that depends on which rom you're using.

To the left of the San Francisco sign at the top of your screen is the proximity sensor. In bright light, you will see 2 small black circles. one proximity,the other is the light sensor for dimming or brightening up your screen when you have auto brightness switched on.

When covered during a call, the screen goes blank. When the call ends, it should light up again.

I can see the proximity sensor but it doesnt matter i think but it doesnt turn on even when i dont have it covered up. and im using Ginger Stir Fry

Finaly i found the way to fix it. I just downloade "Proimity Senasor Calibration" app from market which has been made by ZTE Corporation for ZTE phones that has this issuse.

I downloaded it and its working fine now, i can easily turn the screen on and off while calling :D

Something like that is built into some roms already and it was suggested on reply no 3 by Amphoras that it may need a proximity sensor calibration. Anyway, glad you got it sorted out
