Hello all,

Today's ROM Manager Premium upgrade (v5.0.0.1) seems to have support for 'Skate'.

'Flash ClockworkMod Recovery' asks:

------------------------------

Confirm Phone Model

Skate

------------------------------

I have not continued with flash as I would first want to ask:

Anyone else tried this recovery already?

Thanks!

I'm not sure they've added support for Skate yet. They've added generic support for unsupported devices though. What you see in the list is your device model name. Guess we'll have to wait just a bit longer for official support?

actually there is still no support ...

The application actually detects the Skate but when trying to download the recovery he informs that the Skate is not yet supported!

We will have to wait!!

If one chooses for currently installed recovery, apparently this manager will accept it (and, I assume, work with it) without, indeed, having own recovery to download/flash/upgrade.

For example, one can take backups and (I assume, I did not try) install roms.

For me does not show ROM Manager Premium (v5.0.0.2) phone model Skate. I wonder why?

It made a back up of the Ice Armour Rom with no probs, booted into CWM backed up then rebooted. Still not full support but progress!

The unsupported recovery option has always been there its nothing new at all. Most things work that way.

Thanks, it makes sense, I had never tried unsupported recovery option.
