Guest Nofan Tasi Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Hello all, Today's ROM Manager Premium upgrade (v5.0.0.1) seems to have support for 'Skate'. 'Flash ClockworkMod Recovery' asks: ------------------------------ Confirm Phone Model Skate ------------------------------ I have not continued with flash as I would first want to ask: Anyone else tried this recovery already? Thanks!
Guest Wacky.ddw Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) Nope, im glad they officially support it now. But its not in the free version yet :) Edited January 31, 2012 by Wacky.ddw
Guest Ipecac9 Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 I'm not sure they've added support for Skate yet. They've added generic support for unsupported devices though. What you see in the list is your device model name. Guess we'll have to wait just a bit longer for official support?
Guest Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 That is strange because I don't see skate in 5.0.0.1

We will have to wait!!

If one chooses for currently installed recovery, apparently this manager will accept it (and, I assume, work with it) without, indeed, having own recovery to download/flash/upgrade. For example, one can take backups and (I assume, I did not try) install roms.
Guest Indiant Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) For me does not show ROM Manager Premium (v5.0.0.2) phone model Skate. I wonder why? Edited February 1, 2012 by Indiant

Still not full support but progress!
Guest Frankish Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 The unsupported recovery option has always been there its nothing new at all. Most things work that way.
