Guest todoleo Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Google has updated their Google Docs for Android application. This most recent update brings with it a host of improvements, including the option to mark files as available offline for viewing (not editing) and an improved reading experience while on Android tablets. Here at MoDaCo Towers we installed the updated Google Docs for Android on both a tablet and a smartphone. The improved experience for tablets is welcome, and the user interface seems to be cleaner on both tablet and smartphone. Elements of Matias Duarte's UI guidelines seem to be trickling through, even though they are not fully implemented. We have a feeling he'll have to be more persuasive with his baseball bat and funky shirt next time he visits the Google Docs for Android team... More screenshots and comments after the break.
