Guest Yoruba Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Not an orginal topic, but here's the question anyway. Unfortunally I can't get my Liquid MT started in recovery mode (well actually it worked once) Problem is that after installing Clockwork Mod Recovery (3.0) or AmonRa Recovery (2.2) the button combinations like explained in different topics (Volume Up + Volume Down + Camera + Power) feel like a game of luck. Sometimes I get fastboot, sometimes SD mode, 90% normal start-up and once recovery mode. I want to install T&L Metal on phone but have no root access. Applications like Quick Boot and ROM manager both seem to need root access before restarting in recovery mode. This can't be the only possible aproach right? Is there another way besides the button combinations to access recovery and install/flash T&L Metal? Thanks in advance.
Guest Dr.Luigi Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Clockwork isnt that combination, Its Volume down, Camera FOCUS "half pressed" and power
Guest Yoruba Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Clockwork isnt that combination, Its Volume down, Camera FOCUS "half pressed" and power Thanks for the answer, but it doesn't make a difference in my case and more important: it doesn't change the question. Is there an alternative for the button combinations?
Guest Smeelious Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Thanks for the answer, but it doesn't make a difference in my case and more important: it doesn't change the question. Is there an alternative for the button combinations? Two threads ftl. anywho, Dr. Luigi is correct. Use the proper button combos and it'll work. What he listed works for both CWM and AmonRa. failing that. adb reboot recovery
Guest Chrisund123 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Install Rom manager and select reboot in recovery
Guest Smeelious Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Install Rom manager and select reboot in recovery requires root. I mean he could always root some other way.
