Guest robwils1974 Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Hi there guys, I have been trying to install the stock rom for the orange monte carlo as, silly person as I am, i managed to delete some of the vital orange software like the alarm and the browser. I now want to go back to the origional software and I have a copy of it. I have rooted superusered the phone and have installed clockworkmod/ rom manager. When I put the new rom onto my sd card and ask rom manager to 'install rom from sd card' or 'reboot into recovery' and then tick the 3 boxes (backup and 2 wipe ones) the phone restarted but then hangs on the green man as if the phone was bricked. The only way to re-start the phone is to remove the battery and reboot, this only results in the phone restarting to its normal screen without any changes. I have also notice that after trying this a couple of times the phone is running much much slower. I would be grateful of someone on the forum would give me some advice as to what I am doing wrong. Sorry if this seems like a silly problem, I am all very new to this.
