Guest Simon O Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 UPDATE: T-Mobile UK have sent out a tweet stating that there is no speed cap on the Full Monty Tarrif. The original tweet referring to a speed cap has now been deleted. We don't know if T-Mobile simply made a mistake or decided at the very last minute to change plans, but we are glad that the crisis is over for now and subscribers to the Full Monty tarrif can now enjoy the maximum download speeds possible. Source: T-Mobile UK Twitter Users signing up to the new T-Mobile Full Monty plan may be in for a shock as it has emerged that download speeds are capped by T-Mobile to a pitiful 1 Mb/s. The information was spotted by CoolSmartPhone on the official T-Mobile UK Twitter account and has already resulted in some angry messages from T-Mobile customers on Twitter who have not been informed of any such restriction. T-Mobile have already received flak from customers questioning if the £36 monthly fee is competitive enough when compared to deals provided by other networks and this latest news really isn't going to help. We can't help feeling that the low download speeds will result in a less and optimal experience for any smartphone user on this plan who wishes to use video calling or tv on demand.
