Sad news,

I left my blade in a taxi when out on monday. I called the phone and the driver picked up and then decided to keep the phone so pulled the sim. bellend.

anyways, i guess it was time for a little upgrade. even though i will miss the blade.

the semi-good-news is that i managed to get a zte skate on the cheap. was about to buy an lg 2x

I will still be hanging around this forum as the devices are so similar. but I will mainly be over in the skate forum so I wanted to say goodbye.

cheers for making this phone have one of the best modding communities out there. I will always remember fondly how this forum allowed me to take my trusty blade from android 2.1 all the way to 4.0.3. Its been a good 17 months.

Thats bad news mate and im sorry to hear it. Did you try pushing any tracking apps to the phone remotely? It may be worth a shot pushing android lost to it and see what happens.

Im not sure if the phone stops the Google apps and gmail etc should a sim be changed, or whether they are still active on the phone, but worth a shot anyway.

Gapps will still be active on the blade. Hope you have put a security pin on market and changed your Google password.

This has just reminded me of that story about a violinist in America who left a $200,000 Stradivarius in a taxi and then got it back. Most taxi drivers probably place more value on a phone than a violin though!

yer. i have changed all my passwords. and have barred the phone.

going keep the skate until something nice comes up.

anyone know if a budget dual core phone is going to be coming out soon?
