Anyone had problems with the kindle app?

Hi,

I'm having a major problem with this app. :/

I'm using the orange stock ROM, phone is rooted and has clockwork installed.

I have deleted and re-installed multiple times, used antTek app manager to clear the data and cache, rebooted the phone so often I'm getting dizzy.

But it always crashes after showing the splash screen saying "kindle" and drops me back to the homescreen.

I noticed that others were complaining about the same problems in the recent market reviews. Maybe worth seeing if you can get hold of an older apk

Kindle for Android 3.3.2.3 is fine on Atomic 3E

Since I updated to 3.4 the other day (with new splash screen that just says Kindle) it has stopped working for me. As has been said in the comments section on the Market it seems that Amazon have dropped the ball here and released an update that clearly wasn’t tested fully.

I hope they’ll fix this and release an update soon. V3.3 worked fine for me.

If you install 3.3 would it automatically update it? ( android noob here :P )

If not is there any legit way to get hold of the apk for 3.3?

Yes, upgraded to Kindle App 3.4 (Android 2.2) and now it only shows the splash screen and crashes.
