modaco gfx

Ok, I'm old skool, amiga a500, before internet, we only had dial up bbs worldwide and janet , 14.4k hst usrobotics modem, bluebox, pbx's, at&t etc etc, but also used to do bit of logo's gfx for various groups I was in,quartex, rebels , I quite fancy doing summit for modaco, can anyone recommend a tidy free prog for pc ? Let me know guys

Not sure what you mean but I use Gimp for graphics editing it free and very good, its a bit like photo shop

Hi there, ok imagine one of your roms, when booting up your name is on screen in a kind of graffiti style logo. We used to tag games on the amiga, " cracked by ......" can't remember what prog I used to use. Its nearly 20 years ago. I know I'm old, I will do something and post it, used to to ascii art stuff also. Properbly load of rubbish now, used to be good though

Atomic-Mod would add it to the next release, Iv been thinking of trying to make one but not very good at graphics

Ok, I will work on something, I done a few good ones on the amiga, but I'm not a proper gfx artist, I was better at other things, never got the hang of coding though, u guys rule. Also we never had noobs, just you were either elite or a lamer and u had to figure things out yourself. There was'nt much help like on here, but if was good fun, used to get up to allsorts of mad things. Anyway I will work on a few ideas and we can see what happens.

Maybe not, but some of the ascii art used to to be really cool, made up of dashes, underscores and symbols. I may try doing one. Might take me a little while to get back into it,

Maybe ascii is best left in the past, just messing about on my omc, I will spend a bit of time on pc and see wot I can come up with. Nice one

Now I'm making progess, a splashscreen is what I'm babbling on about. Post it/them here soon as poss. I'm thinking " tillaz" in some crappy acsii. J. , aoke. I will do my best, a proper "tillaz" splash to stick on your roms would be cool.
