Skype video calling working

Apologies if this has been covered already, but I have finally got Skype video calling working with Vegacomb 3.2 (build 9/HoneyIce).

I have found that video calling only works in Version 2.5.4.162 of Skype. The video does not work for me in newer versions than this. You can download the apk of this version from here.

When I saw this I got very excited and installed Skype 2.5.4.162 on my Vegacomb 3.2 9n. However when I do a test video call, I hear the person and it says "initializing video" then the app bombs out and I go back to my homepage.

I really would love Skype video to work on my Vega! Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
