Rom & Recovery Install From Stock 2.1

Hello All I thought i would post a full guide on how to take your phone from stock to Custom in a instant. Unlock Code Info Look Down

1. You will need a USB cable,ZTE Racer Usb Drivers,and at least 50% Battery Fully Charged Is best Though but not necessary

2. The usb drivers are located http://support.zte.com.cn/support/uploads/ZTE_Android%20USB_Driver_For_Microsoft_PC.rar

3.Once All the drivers are installed you are now ready to get the recovery

5.1. Download package above and extract to your computer desktop using winrar or similar program

2. Turn phone off take battery out, wait 5 secs then replace battery

3. Press and hold vol+ and press power button once whilst still holding vol+ the red led and green droid picture should both stay on

4. Now connect the usb cable to the computer and then the phone, wait afew moments for any drivers to install, win7 will install them itself, xp/vista you may have to install them manually (drivers included in download package, "ZTE Handset USB Driver 5.2066.1.8")

5. Once you`ve successfully installed the drivers you can check this by going on device manager on your computer, your phone should be listed as "Fastboot Interface" under "ADB Interfaces".

6. Now go into the Racer-Fastboot-Recovery-CWM folder that you extracted earlier on your desktop and double click on the "windows-flash-gen1-recovery.bat" file, cmd will open, message will say successfully installed CWM (clockwork recovery mod CWM) press any key to exit cmd window

7. Disconnect the usb cable from phone, take battery out wait afew seconds, replace battery, press and hold vol- and press power button once whilst still holding vol- you now should have CWM menu to install your custom ROMS.......

>if it fails to install CWM double check you have installed device drivers correctly and computer recognises your phone (steps 2-5) and then repeat again (steps 2-7)

6.Once You done this you ready to choose your custom rom

7.Once you have downloaded your ROM Copy it To you SD card

8.Turn off your phone restart it holding the VOl - button to enter recovery mode

9.Now See the recovery the volume buttons are up and down the accept call is to go forward in menus hang up to go back

10.Back Up your rom by going to Back Up & restore Select back Up Option (Note The back up is stored on your sd card)

11. Now Your Ready To Clear the old rom Select Wipe data/factory rest & wipe cache Partition

12. Now go to mounts and sotrage a format boot,cache,system,data

13. once thats all coplete go to the start of the recovery and select instal from sd the select choose zip

14.Now find the .ZIP ROM located on your SD click on it select yes and it will install any errors will be shown at the bottom

15.If the rom installs without errors show reboot your phone and leave it to boot

Congratulations You have now installed a custom ROM
