Guest tillaz Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) use root explorer on your phone navigate to system/usr/keylayout open all the files with text edit until you find one similar to below, but it will probably not have any -> WAKE, simply add WAKE next to the name of the button you want to wake the phone key 102 HOME WAKE key 139 MENU WAKE_DROPPED key 158 BACK WAKE_DROPPED key 115 VOLUME_UP WAKE key 114 VOLUME_DOWN WAKE (this is took from my o2x, not got a skate on me to check the exact layout, it will be close to the same) Edited February 14, 2012 by tillaz
Guest JThumar Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 WAKE should be put instead of WAKE_DROPPED ? Guest zhh0510 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 It has already that in my phone But don't work i use CM7~
Guest Wacky.ddw Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 It would be nice to have a flashable .zip to do this so you can flash this over every ROM so you can allways wake up your screen without pulling te battery out :)
Guest Frankish Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 I'm pretty sure the hardware doesn't support it. Only way would be to not let the phone fully sleep at a quite large battery loss. I remember they managed to do this on the desire with some sort of kernel hack.
