If I am on the CM9 version which was released today (09052012), how do I upgrade to the AOKP ROM which will be released tomorrow I believe? The ROM I am using now isn't AOKP and apparently AOKP is better so I want to upgrade without losing anything.

How can I do this?

If not, how can I upgrade and lose the least amount of my data possible?

Thanks in advance!

I've had it happen occasionally on past ICS's and a dalvik cache wipe always recovers it for me.

wat's d reason behind dis ....

is this problem ignored???

or the first time reporting it???

the next trouble i faced is unexpected hanging of programs

eg: i played a track and came to home screen when i do several other things the player gets hang...

hopes this problem is due to lower RAM  ............

anyway to overcome this............. :(

anyway the ROM is developing over my expectations "hats off dev" ;) .............

Can I open the Rom zip file and delete /tts files, /media/bootanimation.zip and also the not needed ringtones and alarms?

What else can be deleted to let more space avaliable on the system partition?

Thank you

If you have a blade with 256mb then enable through settings > performance > memory > zram and set it to 18%

if u wanna change from CFX to AOKP then a fresh install is recommended.i think you must wipe everything otherwise you will be having problems/bugs....

just back up your data and apps and try then

But don't turn on the oven if you dont have the fish in the pan :P

its already set by default.......

is it good to make it 28%??...

Is it? It should be set to 0. Try 26% to see if it makes a difference.

Was it decided that missing apps on the market are down to the ROM or Gapps?

I have full gapps installed, but missing apps such as Whatsapp, Go SMS Pro etc.

However, this is a great ROM, thank you Tilal.

And camera preview laggy)

I've been following this thread for over a month now, and have been using the ROM for a couple of weeks already. Love it. I downloaded the new update, but I'd like to get rid of some bits I don't need, so there's more space available. Like Live Wallpapers, the Boot Animation (like it, but I don't quite need it). Could you advise me what and where do I find these things? I see Boot Anim file in the root, and the APKs in system/app/ - but I'm not quite sure if I have to delete them and be done with it. A quick reply would help. Cheers!

If you have a 5mp camera it is possible that you need to move to 3mp to get it to work.

i have 5mpx and takes photos ok. but the preview is very slow

3mpx camera here, preview looks like a slideshow. Anything else - awesome.

Can confirm that.

Preview in video recording is much smoother than preview in camera.

watch the minimum cpu frequency.. if its 122mhz then make it 245mhz

maybe it helps

give feedback if camera preview is working better
