For all with problems getting the Google Gallery to work try to set 'Force GPU rendering' in the Developer settings.

Gallery was only showing a black screen for me even though it seemed to load the albums & pictures. Forcing GPU rendering in 2D solved it for me.

Thanks for the tip, it perfectly works now, my question is? does it affects anything else? i mean in a bad permance way?

Cheers

Thanks for the update, everything seems clean and smooth. Thanks for getting the camera working!

Only trouble I'm having is the stability of Poweramp, causing graphical glitches... possibly due to the new library? It can be reproduced whilst playing a music file and either opening the Settings menu or opening / closing the Equaliser Menu, causing graphical blending between menus to break and cause a force close.

*EDIT* Haha, I just got an e-mail from Google thanking me for upgrading to a new Galaxy Nexus phone. Google Play accounts still show it as a ZTE Blade though, so we're all good.

We sent you this one-time welcome message because you recently activated your Google account on a Galaxy Nexus phone.

I think someone posted similar a few posts back. I might setup a tasker profile to do bluetooth on and off on boot or something!

It was me.

And that probably would "fix" the airplane mode issue :)

First of all, great ROM!!!found something strange.....yesterday I installed this ROM, but when somebody is calling, the ringtone rings once and it's not repeating itself. How to set this up

Anybody? Ringtone rings once, also in latest version, but keeps on vibrating. How to change this.

Getting crazy graphic glitches (yellow screen)

yup! same here ..certain apps causing it! that's the only problem I guess!! apart from some apps not working appropriately! tomg alpha 7 is is much better but not as smooth as cold fusion!

Tilal6991 asked us not to mirror it.

On a side note sharing large files using dropbox public links is a really bad idea. If you generate a lot of bandwidth they will disable your links for a while.

Doesn't for me. Still reboots. :(

[edit]

Actually it's OK if bluetooth is on. But the idea of turning it on, then off and airplane working until the next reboot doesn't work for me.

Targetbsb, have you tried leaving Bluetooth on then switch to airplane mode. It appears thht airplane mode tries to kill Bluetooth when it isn't switched on which causes thh problem.

This is what I gathered from Tom G and Wbaw chat

The standby life on this seems damned good! Overnight the battery gauge went down 0% and I wasn't even on airplane (cause it doesn't work :D )

Was also even in 3g because I forgot to change it to 2g!

Sorry, yes, I edited my post after this later chat about it! Yes, having bluetooth on fixes the airplane reboot. But there was suggestion that you could turn bluetooth on then off and then airplane would work for the rest of that boot.

So, reading all posts latest update gives various experience to users...

What is update procedure? Wipe /system and all caches, write new version and in case of fuckup fresh install?

That sounds about right but I ended up having to do the fresh install to get the thing stable. Though the backup of Coldfusion I was upgrading from seemed to be unstable (which I didn't remember having problems when I made the backup or I wouldn't have made it :D ) So I didn't have the best platform to start from.

@tilal6991, how about disabling HW acceleration in the browser as a temporary solution to slow rendering? isn't it as simple as removing the flag in the manifest?
