Battery drain :(

Hey guys,

since the last 2 weeks.

I'm getting pathetic battery performance...

I'm talking in a matter of 8 hours on STANDBY i lose 85 percent of my battery!!!!

with moderate use I can usually stretch my battery to last 36 hours. this is horrendous.

I've cut down my widget's to half and have stopped allot of apps running in the background that usually do.

Have also tried recalibrating my battery using the clockwork recovery menu twice to no avail.

how do i start diagnosing the problem?

Try battery monitor widget to observe the battery drain issue, disable all potential apps and re-enabling each by each.

It turned out that Facebook and Google Latitude were two battery killers for me, BUT when I uninstalled, played around and reinstalled them, battery performance was better.

Don't ask me why, but it just worked.
