I don't know what to do. I cannot access the recovery menu either. Can somebody help me ? Thank you Firstly, pull out the battery, wait ten seconds, put it back in and try entering recovery (vol- and power). If this doesn't work, I'd recommend performing a TPT. Don't know where the tpt forum is but if you can't find it just download the SKatie rom. You will need a card reader or something like that. Make sure you unzip it on your sd card so that there is a folder called image.

First boots often take a while.
Guest igor012 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Ok thanks, I get a FTM logo... what is it ?
Guest tilal6991 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Hang on a sec. You're getting FTM mode with ClockWorkMod recovery installed?
Guest igor012 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 yes, I used CWM to install the rom
Guest Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) FTM ? How did you install cm9 then ? You need clockwork mod recovery. Edit: if you used cwm to install rom then its still there.Cm9 does not change your recovery partition,nor does any custom rom.Have you used a tpt ? Edited February 20, 2012 by Guest
Guest tilal6991 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Try to get into clockwork the way you did before - I presume volume down and power?
Guest igor012 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) @jikobutsu : update.zip on sd -> reboot in recovery mode -> wipe -> install and now volume down + power gets me to FTM mode EDIT no tpt Edited February 20, 2012 by igor012
Guest Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) Is anyone else confused here ? If you install cwm then flash cm9 there is no way to end up with FTM without using a stock tpt right ? Edited February 20, 2012 by Guest
Guest Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 What version of cwm are you using ? V4 = power + volume down V5 = power + volume up + home
Guest igor012 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Whole history : Android 2.3.4 rooted install of CWM copy rom on sdcard under update.zip reboot on recovery mode wipe install from sd reboot boot screen loop __________________ volume down + power -> FTM mode
Guest igor012 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) volume up+ home + power -> nothing happens Edited February 20, 2012 by igor012
Guest Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 How did you first install recovery ? I would suggest that recovery did not install and that you perform the process again. Did you use the windows.bat method ?
Guest Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) OK give me a minute I will give you link to a tpt. Edited February 20, 2012 by Guest
Guest igor012 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 No i am not sure. I have to check on my computer I am at work now so i'll check later. I'll get back to you later. Thanks for your time
Guest C3C0 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 It is also possible that the update.zip he flashed also reflashed recovery partiion and overwrote his CWM or installed another version of CWM with different key cominations for entering into it or it could even install CWM not compatible with Skate. I would just reflash the recovery.
Guest Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 No i am not sure. I have to check on my computer I am at work now so i'll check later. I'll get back to you later. Thanks for your time OK if you still need help we are here. Your easiest option is to use a tpt this will give you recovery and custom partitions for more internal space.

Now i can flash again. Thanks Good to hear that all is well.....now you can install one of the fanfastic roms available,including ICS & miui 4
Guest Smt923 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 By the sounds of it when you explained what you did, you didn't wipe cache/data/dalvik, which is probably why you're boot looping how you managed to some how remove CWM is a mystery to me though
