Please Help - Monte Carlo stuck on Green Android Man Logo

I was following this post to install superboot :

Im running Windows 7, I installed drivers and ran the bat file, my phone rebooted, installed another driver then the dos window displayed text basically saying the process had completed. The phone the started to reboot but just stops after the green android man icon is displayed. The phone then needs to have the battery taken out to get the phone to boot again, but will only get as far as the green icon again.

I am going to try flashing the ZTE TPT image file to recover the phone, but is the Superboot .bat file likely to error in the same way if I run it again - or is it just that I have been unlucky this time ? (I checked the version number in "About Phone" and it matched the version ID on the Superboot post).

Can you get into ftm mode by holding volume down+power? when booting phone

Actually doesnt matter about ftm mode, do you have a card reader?

Put your sd out of your phone in the card reader. Then download one of these TPTs http://android.modaco.com/topic/348776-zte-skate-tpts/. If you want the stock orange partition layout that is there.

If you want to go back to the stock rom, replace the system.img with this: http://uploading.com/files/cdf6cama/OUK_P743TV1.0.0B18.zip/

Follow the instructions on there

If you do go back to stock rom, do not use a 2mb cache tpt
