RBM One (ZTE Blade, GEN2 stock) - question

So I bought a RedBullMobile One (ZTE Blade, came with Android 2.2.2 as gen2 - acording to Mr. PigFish), because it's still the reasonable phone with android on board in our country (Poland), but I want to upgrade the ROM. So here are a few things I wanted to ask:

As the original partition layout is not very good, can I TPT straight away? I wanted to use Swedish Snow as the all-in-one, and then install CM7 on top of it (after wiping and all)... But after a bit of reading, it won't work if my device was sold as gen2.

So the second question is: is there any way of repartitioning available on gen2-out-of-the-box devices? Can I use TPT (preferably TPT helper) on mine?

Sorry if some of this was mentioned in guides, but it's a tough job digging through them all and finding what you need. I'm going to use this guide to switch to CM7, but I hope there is a way of changing the partition layout...

I'm thinking your's is a European Blade so yes a TPT can be used for repartitioning and flashing CM7.
