mClock causes lockscreen lag?

Hello, when i have the mclock widget on my homescreen it seems to make my lockscreen clock lag a few seconds like the time it shows will be a few mins behind then it catches up after a few seconds, does anyone know how to fix this? Without the widget the lockscreen clock shows no lag.

On a serious note some apps that tell the time use radio or other means to sett the time to your internal clock. Depending on what they use can cause lag untill the app checks with the phones internal clock usually set from gmt.

You can try setting the internal clock to manual instead of automatic it might help but I really do not know.

This is apparent with the standard clock also. You can see the refresh alright but its only for a second at most. Pressing power, as screen lights up, you will see clock refresh.

Thanks for response, i'll give it a try when i use the widget again as im currently trying the miui roms out :)
