Guest JetKun Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Does a UMA Signal Boost Flashable ZIP for OMC/Skate exist? I saw a ROM down in the depths, I think by tillaz, but is it possible to make a ZIP for it, like the Bravia Engine?
Guest Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 (edited) As far as I know the answer is no. Signal boost is only available on stock orange 2.3.4 If I remember correct tillaz did look into this before. Signal boost is probably embedded into frameworks. There was a similar problem when I had a blade and we had the Monte Carlo rom.We wanted to get Dolby sound into cm7 but several devs attempted to do it,and as far as I know it still has not been successful. Guest TrollFaceEngaged Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I tried using appextractor to extract the signal boost app from my stock nandroid backup a while back onto my newly installed Atomic ROM ........ but the app just kept spamming FCs at me.
Guest Andymac1969 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 (edited) If you look in the crescent forum, somebody got signal boost working via a flash able zip Andrew Edited March 4, 2012 by Andymac1969
Guest PejotA Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 If you look in the crescent forum, somebody got signal boost working via a flash able zip Andrew Do not do it ... I did the flash of zip and my Wi-Fi just does not work ... so stop being a waste of time and generating more work. I had to restore the backup nandroid that had to be able to turn the WiFi signal I do not recommend using this zip.:mellow:

Maybe that may have prevented others potentially having a problem!! As it is, the posts there at the moment say its working, jeez I am not a mind reader.
Guest ian_c_here Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 UMA signal boost is incorporated in the Logicmod rom. When I tried the rom it worked well. Remember, though that it only works on Orange network. http://android.modaco.com/topic/351689-rom-dolby-digital-logicmod-r2-updated-21-02-12/

I did it for my responsibility .... Just read the thread link and I downloaded the flash .... As I said, for my own responsibility! I had no intention of anything! Hugs!:mellow:
