That's the notification led, you sure you don't have notifications or your low on battery?

I get the same problem mate, it is your signal. When it next happens take a look at your signal it will either be on 0 bars or your bars will have a x through it

think its in the sound settings, cant check at the moment

Thanks Tilaz, its really starting to piss me off as it no longer works as a back button...which means I get stuck on pages etc.
