Guest danmanbad Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 (edited) UKOSF IN NO WAY DO I BLAME THE TPT ONLY MY STUPIDITY I flashed an all in one tpt and instead of letting boot after install, i booted in to clockwork i then insted of letting it boot the first time i flashed a version of the same rom which i had modified to suit my needs. then to recover it i flashed a stock recovery then i used the official zte update tool it updated to 2.2.2 i then finally got it back to ss5 Now market isn't showing my installed apps,- that seem to have sorted it out its self the network time isn't updating, if i try to flash a zip, it just gets stuck on green android. as a side note when i updated using zte tool i found that if i held volume up and the home or menu i cant remeber which one it will go into recovery to let you flash a custom recovery Edited March 9, 2012 by danmanbad
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 I have to do this as the first post is just too hard to process. No offence but thats impossible to comprehend the way it is wrote. basicly what happened was i used swedish snow 5 tpt just like i used any of the tpt's but instead of letting it boot the first time i just flashed the normal zip of ss5 . then it got stuck it then crashed then it would not turn on without the power cable then i got a stock recovery on to it then i used the official zte update tool it updated my phone to 2.2.2 then it stoped setting the time and date buy the network as it normly dose i then used wbaw windows downgrade tool reset my phone to stock i then flashed the tpt again it worked but then if i try flashing just a zip it sticks on the green man so i have 2.3.5 ss5 on it now but it still being a bit dodgy with me nore will it say that the apps i backed up and reinstalled are not in my apps on the market(play shop)

Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Do you have clockworkmod installed? Superuser installed? The market will generally reset itself after a while, and show you the installed apps. I have had this where it shows only 2 apps installed. I think this happened after I cleared the market cache. Did you do a full wipe before installing ss5? Is this what you installed, from Swedish Snow rom by KonstaT? All-in-one TPT installation: This will only work in phones that were sold with gen1 layout or updated to gen2 via TPT method. This won't work if your phone was sold gen2 or you have used windows tool to update. -updates gen1->gen2 -repartitions internal storage (128mb /system, 326mb /data, 2mb /cache, 0,1mb /oem) -installs Swedish Snow RLS5 -installs ClockWorkMod Recovery 4.0.1.5 -installs classic green android splash screen

Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Can you explain this a bit more please basicly what happened was i used swedish snow 5 tpt just like i used any of the tpt's but instead of letting it boot the first time i just flashed the normal zip of ss5 . After flashing a tpt, you have to flash a rom. Saying that, that all in one tpt above should have worked. It should have repartitioned your phone and installed the rom I think. Was your phone a gen 1 to start with? Did you ask Mr Pigfish to see what Gen you had? Just confirm that you are now running Swedish Snow RLS5 now and its running ok. Your only issue is now the market problem, and when you attempted to flash a new zip, it just stayed on the green android? What were you trying to flash?

Guest youngsta2010 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 First of all writing in capitals means you are shouting for some people so if you want help I'd stop it. Second people don't understand what you have done to your phone so how can they help? Try to write *exactly* what you did, step by step. Calmly!
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 He flashed an all in one tpt and instead of letting the rom part install, he cancelled it and installed his own version of the same rom which he had modified to suit his needs. Now market isn't showing his installed apps, the network time isn't updating, if he tries to flash a zip, it just gets stuck on green android. I have never heard of anyone doing this so can't recommend a cure. Mixed with the use of the Zte repair tool and it could be any number of issues. Those big red letters in threads usually mean a warning. If the warning isn't heeded, then your on your own generally. I have helped as much as I can but your phone e is working so I wouldn't go messing with it. Set the time manually, the market will probably fix itself.
