Only harm with overclocking is when you do it to high. 921 is a stable speed but people have reported up to 998 speed

On my Skate with R9, 960 MHz is stable. Never crushed until now.

Hi, on my Skate 960 Mhz stable. I have Ice Armor 3 ROM.

just increase in small steps (and then test by using intensive app/game) and see if it crashes to find your optimal speed.

everybody will have a different stable max

Once you've found the highest stable clock speed, go one or two settings lower. If you get a crash because you're overclocking too high, it's not good for your CPU and will decrease the phone's life.

That said, if you're not planning on having the phone more than a year I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just take care of your phone and it'll take care of you

It will depend on hardware and also depends on which ROM you use,

Using Ice Armour III+ I could run mine all the way up to 1036 MHz but dropped it

down to my normal 998 MHz as the back of the case started to get a little warm.

Okay so how can I make an upgrade on the cooling on my phone?

- visions of huge liquid cooling tank attached to my phone ;-)
