Guest BGRT Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 Hi all. Noticed earlier that I wasn't getting any incoming calls. I have tried from different phones without success, it's going straight to voicemail. Outgoing calls, internet & sms are all working fine. I have rebooted the phone but it makes no difference. The only things I have done since last getting a call were to make a Titanium back-up & a Nandroid back-up. No new apps have been installed. I am on the Giffgaff network and running Ginger SF r4. I have tried the sim in an old Sony Ericsson and it receives the calls ok. I have changed the "unreachable" call forwarding to a fixed line number for now but that's obviously only good as a quick fix ! Any ideas ? TIA

Guest BGRT Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 (edited) Have you checked Call Settings on both your phone and giffgaff? Yup for both, settings wise, on the phone the call forwarding is set to when Busy, Unanswered & Unavailable only and it doesn't say much on the Giffgaff site other than Balance notifications On & Adult Content Control On ! My problem seems to be somehow related to missed calls. I have managed to clear it temporarily by going in and out of "Aeroplane mode" and after that, I receive the calls normally but (I have tried a few times !) it starts again as soon as I have a missed call ! Update; Ended-up restoring the Nandroid back-up and it seems fine now. Still puzzled as to what went wrong ! Edited March 9, 2012 by BGRT
