I just saw the new phone by zte called the skate aqua. Going by the spec it has the same processor as the skate but its clocking at 1 Ghz. So should we not be able to get 1Ghz fully intstead of just 960 max. I know there not much difference but still :P

It's an ARM7 Snapdragon MSM7227A so it's significantly better but should be ~£40-50 more expensive as well.

But it says Adreno 200 , don't ARM 7 have Adreno 205?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge

I read in an article that their new quad core "was expected to retail" at over £500, but whether or not this is accurate who knows. ZTE looks to have improved their build quality in their upcoming generation of phones, but they're still unlikely to rival Samsung or HTC in that regard, so I hope they continue to offer their phones at affordable prices.

Also, the same article suggested that HTC's new quad core will retail at 400 and something pounds. I'm struggling to see how ZTE can compete with HTC when their equivalent phone is priced higher than what is a far more established brand.

I'm also curious what the 4.5" HD phone ZTE is releasing will be priced at. It looks like a nice alternative to the quad core as it seems to match it for most of its features.

It looks like, if you speed up an iPhone, a HTC and a Samsung device to the speed of light, and let them collide :D
