Cannot Purchase App, Help

I downloaded Tune In Radio Pro via Get jar.

I now want to purchase it from Google Play as it is on offer, the problem is Google play will not let me, t only gives me the option to download it (as if I had already purchased it)

Then if I try and download, itgets denied with an error message saying that I have not purchased it.

Which is true, but I have no option to purchase.

Anyone got any ideas ?

make a back up of it, then uninstall it, it knows there's a version of it on your phone, so will give you the option to update, but because you didn't by it via market, it's not on their record as you've bought it, so will not allow you to update, backup and uninstall, and it will allow you to buy from market and download :)

No go. I have not had it installed for months.

It is the same on every device I have owned in the past year.

Even devices that have been flashed and reflashed and wiped.

It only gives me the same error.

I can't upgrade from the basic app either.

I have tried breaking the links using titanium backup.

can you not create another Google account, and see if it will let you download via the new account?:$

also is getjar provided by your network and tied to your sim in anyway?

OK that worked, I now have it installed on my phone via my wifes account.

But it is still not ideal as I don't really wanna be logging in with that account all the time.

:lol: ,yes weird. glad you got it, but can't think of a permanent solution, other than the work around. I will think though and post any further thoughts :)
